The HIV Prevention Justice Alliance (HIV PJA) is supported by, and supports, our organizational members.
To become members, organizations must:
• endorse the Prevention Justice Statement of Principles
• contribute dues according to a sliding fee scale (as a one-time yearly contribution or with a monthly
payment plan)
• commit to development and maintenance of mobilization structures
in their organizations and networks to increase response capacity on
HIV PJA issues.
Membership
in the HIV PJA does not imply endorsement of every policy goal or
mobilization. Activities will be opt in/ opt out, meaning that each
member organization will have the discretion to opt in or out of any
activity or goal.
In return, organizational members are entitled to:
• A Mobilization Kit, including a two t-shirts, 100 stickers, a
mobilization toolkit, the “Not One More Minute” hourglass, and other
items
• Participation in members-only email list on Federal prevention justice issues
• Participation in members-only email list on state-level prevention justice advocacy
• Participation in members-only quarterly teleconferences to assist
in the development of the HIV PJA policy agenda and mobilization plans
• Capacity-building support on development and maintenance of mobilization structures
In addition, organizational members will be asked to participate in HIV
PJA mobilizations, contribute information to our strategy development,
and help identify sources of support for the HIV PJA.
